Winter Clinics Director - Tim Norris
Enfield Little League usually hosts an annual winter clinic for some of the divisions. The winter clinics usually run between December and March time frame however this year due to COVID-19 we are only able to do very limited sessions.
Advanced - Hitting / Fielding / Baserunning
There are usually about (10) 1.5 hour sessions for this advanced hitting, fielding and baserunning clinic. This session is usually capped at 20 participants.
- Focus on throwing, catching, hitting, sliding and running
- Small group stations allowing for one-on-one time
- Learn how to properly slide and run bases
- Work one on one with an experienced hitting coach
- Expand on the basic fundamentals of hitting, infield/outfield, footwork, glove to hand ball transfer and situational defense.
- Have fun while learning!
Advanced - Pitching
There are usually about (5) 1.5 hour sessions for advanced pitching. Often times run at the same time as the catching sessions. This session is usually capped at 10 participants.
- No previous pitching experience required
- Pitching coaches will work in small groups and one-on-one situations
- Each pitcher is required to provide their own catcher
Advanced - Catching
There are usually about (5) 1.5 hour sessions for advanced catching. Often times run at the same time as the pitching sessions. This session is usually capped at 10 participants.
- Catching coach will work in small groups and one-on-one situations
- Focus on the basics including proper technique, posture, stance, etc...
- Each session will include catching live pitching at some point.
- Blocking the ball, throw downs, catching with runners on and other advanced techniques.
Coaches are always encouraged to sign up and assist and improve your coaching skill set.
